Clean Sweep

Current Hydro participated in the 9th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep. The yearly event is a significant citizen effort to clean up the Hudson River from Manhattan to Albany. This year, Joel pulled out a 2” diameter nylon bow line (40-foot long!) from the shoreline that might have been on its way to the Atlantic. Nylon line (aka nylon rope) degrades into microplastic ocean pollution.
